Kumiko Nakajima was born in Japan. 

She has lived and worked in France since 1983. She has taken part in numerous exhibitions, including the Salon de Mai, Salon des Réalités Nouvelles, etc. Since being invited by Mr. Ricardo LICATA in 1998, she has exhibited regularly in the "Signs and Traces" group at the Salon des Comparisons.

She makes paintings as well as three-dimensional works. Both are inspired by nature, such as flowers, plants, trees, clouds and insects,etc.

She pays great attention to shapes and colours.
